Ripples in Time – the quality of light
Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Taken during the sunset. The light is so different over there. The sunset is not spectacular by any means compared to the scene that greeted me on arrival at Heathrow but the light scatters differently, it is filtered by the sand that seems to hang in the air. It makes me glad to be a photographer, I can appreciate the boring sunset as I see the light, not the scene. If that makes sense. It makes the beach, the sand, the buildings – everything looks different.
